A message from our Leadership

March 14, 2020

To our Faith family,

At Faith, the health and safety of our visitors, staff, and volunteers is a priority. Therefore, we continue to monitor the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and its possible impact on our church and community.

According to the most recent information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the immediate risk of being exposed to COVID-19 is still thought to be low for most people. Worship services will continue to take place as scheduled. Still, Faith is taking every step possible to avoid the virus that causes COVID-19, including:

  1. Increased deep-cleaning and disinfecting of high traffic/high touch areas in the Church.
  2. Multiple anti-bacterial sanitizing stations placed throughout the building.
  3. Encouragement of staff, volunteers and guests to practice good hand washing and coughing etiquette.
  4. Continual evaluation of our practices in ministry programs and worship services, including Communion, offering, personal interaction, discontinued use of the common cup, adjustments to physical contact during peace passing, and use of hand sanitizers by communion volunteers.

Out of consideration for others, we ask that you please stay home when you are sick. As a general rule, if you or your child is too sick to go to work or school, you’re too sick to come to church, and you should stay home.

As a reminder, the CDC recommends everyday preventative actions to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and other respiratory diseases. For more information on COVID-19 directly from the CDC, click the following links:
